fusesmb software package provides filesystem client based on the SMB file transfer protocol, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fusesmb
fusesmb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fusesmb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fusesmb *
You will get with fusesmb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
